Took down this dead cherry two weeks ago during an Ohio dry spell (4 days w/o rain). Now it's time to cut it. And split it. Some other orange saw love. Echo 400 and 501p, both MM and limiters pulled. And stack it. Almost full. Still have a dead aspen laying around that will fill that gap and be good for November.
Awesome shed and pretty cherry rounds. I could sell ricks of cherry all day long in Nashville for a small fortune. Cut my 149th and 150th load today from cleaning up a post logging operation. Started September 7th of last year and probably have another 50 1&1/4 rick loads remaining. Mostly red, white oak and hickory.
Cherry is my favorite to burn inside when I know I'll be working outside. Can't beat the smell of a cherry fire.
Nice stacks and work there sir! I have a half cord rack just for cherry thats about 1/4 full. Common around here but not a common scrounge.
