    Wow. Summer hit big time yesterday at 89 degrees!!! Way too hot even for July here but at least we had low humidity that got as low as 27%.

    We got to 80º, but the humidity was creeping up. We had low humidity of 17% the other day and it was fantastic. It’s rare that we get dry days after the beginning of spring. The weather pattern has already shifted with winds coming more from the east now.

    That no doubt means higher humidity for you. Ours is up this morning and no doubt we'll probably get rai tomorrow. The highway is 3/4 mile from us and all wooded between here and there but the noise from trucks is loud this morning.

    Lawn is greening up nicely. I already have the rider ready to go by sharpening the blades and change oil/filter a couple days ago. Probably use it on Sunday.

    Going to have to set a couple minnow traps to get ready for opener (Sun). It'll be the first time setting them here; I wonder just how the other trappers will treat them. Find out on Sat I guess.

    Had the dock crew show up yesterday and it's level now after the addition was added back in March. I did order a bench for it which should be ready in a week or so.

    Took the morning off from a walk. I did a perimeter walk last evening and the tenner shoes are still soaked! :doh:

    Man ford drives me nuts… 3 hub assemblies later I finally get the right one. Why in the dickens can’t they keep parts common across model years and not make 15,000 different parts for the same model year. :picard: Good grief. I even ordered by VIN # and they don’t sell the dust cap for this hub anywhere I called.

    I got pulled over for speeding. You can hear the sobs in the background..

    It’s OK Liz❤️, You’re almost an adult, and choices have consequences one of which will be higher car insurance. I am so not getting upset over this!

    It’s been almost a year before she got pulled over; that would’ve been a record for me at that age:whistle:

    I call her last minute Liz for a reason:D 35 mph road going to work at local mini mart 4 miles away; it’s easy to get going too fast done those hills..

    I was on first name basis with the deputies in town when I was in high school. Almost daily conversations and not about the weather. 117 in a 45 might have started it and the deputy got reamed because he didn’t turn in the ticket when he was supposed to.
