Pile got a little too big and gamey due to lack of rotation, so rotated out and stacked junky stuff for October burn and now can start cutting again as opportunity presents itself

furnace shut down and cleaned out and oiled up

May go against conventional wisdom but I’d be tempted to leave that gamey stuff uncovered for while and let the weather wash it some more. Just a thought.
Good job for getting it separated.

10/1 is my usual goal, unless unusually hot

I shut down my owb last week...still need to clean it out though. Letting the gas furnace take the chill off each morning. Gas company won't know what's going on when my bill is more than $13 a month (stove top and outdoor grill.)
