Took this down a week or two ago at our new build. Finally got around to limbing and bucking it up today. From the leaves on it in the fall I thought it was a red. After taking it down and now bucking it today Im not so sure. Its definitely not a silver or norway.
Red on the buds and then seeds points to red maple. Sugar maple seeds are more green, like their buds.
