Well, one fact I did learn this week is that a 42cc Craftsman chainsaw is -no match- for a 28" diameter felled rock maple tree. :picard: The tree wins. o_O Time to up my game.

I put out my feeder yesterday as the local news said a few people had been reporting them in the state. No hits, but it usually takes some time for them to find it since it is under my 3' eave so not necessarily in view as they are flying over.

BB, sorry to bother you, you suggested a 45* angle pipe with a clean out on it a year or so ago, and I cannot locate it again.... I thought I bought one but did not, do you recall?

We are still playing musical stoves here.
Cleaned the little stove a bit ago.
Crazy weather....Downpours followed by sun for a shot and then woooosh..more rain.

From November 1st (Start of the water year) we have received nearly 55" of rain.

By Monday we will likely be at 56"

That is a fair bit above normal ...even for us.

The little stove is keeping the shack warm.....The Cascade Mt's East of us are getting a dumping of very late spring snow......Unusual to see Snow near and below pass levels this late....

    Strange weather..
