I'd probably sell it, it's a tweener for me. I bought it to help someone out in a bad money spot..I've probably only ran it 12-15 times..

Thanks Brad, I do like my splits to be consistent :). Main thing here is beautifully straight logs, a tape measure and marking paint and a sharp saw with the bar and chain in good condition. Simple stuff.

I'm kinda ashamed of myself for this one, but....
I wanted to try one of these around the mill, so I don't have to start a gas saw 50 times a day just to whack off a 1x4.
It actually works pretty well.... not much chain speed, but lots of torque!

No need for shame. A lot of guys moving to battery power for small jobs where a quick start makes it alm easier. Plus if you have other cordless Dewalt tools…

I went outside this morning and this Pro Mac 610 was setting here. I reviewed the security camera footage and some stranger just rolled in around 7am, grabbed this out the back of his van and then left. No knocking... nothing. Only thing I can figure is me setting old saws by the road I no longer want to mess with is some how an indication I want more of them. Lol.

Of course the repairman inside of me will have to get it running before moving it along.

:emb: First time ive heard that said on here! Surprised Eric VW hasnt commented yet?

All joking aside ive thought of getting a Dewalt saw myself for the similar purpose. I have the batteries and several of their tools including a pole saw.

Did you lose a tooth and put under your pillow or something? You pleased the chain saw gods somehow.
