Thanks to buZZsaw BRAD, I am now the proud owner of a, new to me, chain saw. Brad had a Stihl MS 261 sitting around wanting to be put to use, new wood to hoard, which I am now giving it the opportunity. After a week of anticipation, our post office lady called Saturday to let me know it arrived and would be delivered that morning, gotta love small town post offices.

Like a kid on Christmas morning, I opened it up. Brad even sent it with a practically new 18” bar and chain, even making sure the chain was sharpened and ready to go. It's a buZZsaw BRAD original, as evidenced by his authentic signature inside the cover. It may have been my imagination, but I think it even had a few bits of black locust in it's teeth. I just hope I can run fast enough to keep up with it.

I finally put it to use this morning on a red oak that's been waiting to be cut up since last summer. Compared to my Stihl 025, this thing is a beast, it ripped through that oak with ease. I'm looking forward to putting it to good use.

    Thank you Brad! :handshake:

Probably caked up here and there on the saw itself. It cut a lot of BL for sure.

I gave it a little cleaning, not much. I really think it had a couple BL chips on the teeth, I flossed it.  Granted that red oak won't be it's biggest challenge, but it will take on whatever I throw at it. It's a really nice saw. I'm hoping to find some time this week, before the rain hits, to take it to the next level.

Black locust sawdust stuck to the saw? That’s trafficking wood over state lines! I’m calling every acronym agency I know to put an end to this lawlessness! What has the world come to, moving illicit BL pixie dust?! Shame on you Brad! What if he gets the mania and his life goes down the drainpipe? You ever think about that? No, of course not because you’re just after the next fix
In all seriousness though, that’s an awesome FHC exchange

    "every acronym agency"

I'm a little more concerned about the oil mixed with the wood sludge, I'm not sure if that makes me an importer, what does OPEC have to say about this? What the frack!

Don't be in denial, the struggle is real, and more widespread than you realize. There's other strains of the illness, Oak OCD, Hickory headaches, and Ash anxiety, just to name a few.

It must have something to do with buZZsaw BRAD , although I was just thinking it was small town post offices. I got a call from the lady at the post office also when the saw Brad sent me showed up

LOL, I think Brad is a hoarding enabler! They're probably tracking him!  When Brad and I were messaging about this, he sent me the link of when he arranged for your saw to be delivered. That was good stuff!

Graffiti is a highly respected form of art, in certain circles! I was expecting it to be done with a crayon.
