Hope you heal quickly and completely! Wrists can be tricky, but if there wasn't much displacement that may be the "break" that you need in that regard. See what I did there? "break", yeah - oh, come on. I'll just show myself out
If I understand you correctly, what you are referring to is known around these here parts, as a "systems check".
I had a follow-up with my hand surgeon this morning Xrays were taken through the cast. All looks well. My artwork survives for a while yet. I go back in 4wks.
I hope it heals quick. I was telling Backwoods Savage that I was cleaning the snow off the snowmobile trailer when I stepped on some ice and down I went, I was fine and only the deer were laughing. We did get new Stabilicers after that and they work great.
I use those all winter, especially getting wood from the wood shed. Managing a wheel barrow full of wood going down hill on ice and snow is almost impossible without them.
Hard to like that Mike. Sorry to hear of your accident. Black ice catches you off guard for sure. Heal up fast. If you need help with firewooding im only a PM away! I get to sign the cast though! Get as much TLC from the Mrs. as you can! Me. buZZsaw'd oldest daughter slipped on some and fell down a flight of stairs. Bruised up and sore but nothing broken luckily.
Glad everything is OK MikeInMa well, at least it is getting better. Left handed, huh? Would've been messier if you broke the other wrist!
The cast was removed. I have it. Xrays showed bone knitting and nothing unexpected. Now I have this to wear when doing stuff. I'm making a PT appointment for both wrist and shoulder. If I feel there's no improvement after a month, go back to see the dr. No manual splitting of wood for a monDr. No lifting >10lbs. Let pain and discomfort be my guide, for now.
Step in the right direction Mike. One day at a time. That day will be here before you know it. Been a week for mine already.
