I got yesterday’s tree stacked, so I’m going to put another on the ground today. It’s got some back lean and there are other trees I don’t want to tear up, so I put a rope in this one too. I’m going to eat a sammich before making the boom, so I’ll post up more pics this afternoon.
...but didnt you say you hated having to stop and eat while making firewood? A well fed hoarder is a focused hoarder!
I did, but I still have to do it. Yes it’s good to be focused while cutting. As soon as I dipped my bar into the dirt, I knew it was time to stop cutting.
Tight as a tick Still get a rush from cutting it loose 28” bar was a bit short She wasn’t there when I felled it 200’ of 5/8 rope in a bag Yes I’m gassed I grounded the 462, so I quit and did some saw maintenance
Great felling by a great feller. Someday ill have to try a 661. Im wondering what will happen to it when the 400 shows up?
Thanks, the 661 is safe, because of the 28” bar and big wood power. It’s the 70cc group that’s crowded. Some of them may be seeing less daylight for a while.
Yes they are beauties that will make lots of squares and rectangles. Probably have to cut them all in half when the 400 shows up.
That feeling when cutting with big saws wife took this pic yesterday while kayaking Looks ready to remove a jugular
No doubt, cool shot! We had a bald eagle sighting about 2 weeks ago @ our house. Yesterday my wife said she saw it again on her way home from work. They are huge!
