Wishing all of our FHC family a Blessed Easter. Please remember what this day means to all of mankind, the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! In this day and age, it's very easy for us to get lost in the true meaning of Easter. Where Christ sacrificed Himself to absolve us from our sin, which is running rampant in the times we are living in, so that we may be granted Eternal Life. So remember all your blessings today, and how imperfect each and every one of us are, and that in all our imperfectness how Jesus took that onto Himself and was crucified on the cross, all because He loved mankind beyond anything we can even imagine.
I've always felt that Easter should have more emphasis than Christmas. I realize Christmas has gotten too commercialized and without the birth of Christ we would have no Savior but.......the resurrection of Jesus is the culmination of our Christian faith. His victory over the grave and death gives his believers the hope and assurance that we too will be resurrected from the grave and given new life for eternity with HIM!!!! He is risen, we serve a living savior!
If nothing else, treated with at least the same reverence as Christmas. We would all go to hell without His sacrifice!
