I saw it probably, Pa probably went into the hardware store & sent Junior to fetch petrol. Maybe the horse couldn’t make it to the pump for the fill up. Lol.

Now if you would of got a picture of that chap at the pump swiping his credit card (since they are a cash/barter system only ) to fill the gas can that they are “occasionally” against using. That would of been even funnier.

In the 1984 movie Red Dawn, the high school kids gave the Russians heck when they invaded the US, they wrote Wolverines on what they destroyed. You had to see the movie to get the humor behind this in Ukraine.

The Houston Astrodome, billed as the "8th Wonder of the World"

57 years ago, on April 9, 1965, the Astros beat the New York Yankees 2-1 after 12 innings in the first game ever to be played at the Astrodome. Governor John Connally threw the first pitch, but the most prominent fans were President Lyndon Johnson and first lady Lady Bird. Can it really only be 57 years?

What was under the "circus tent" structure and the 30 rectangular structures off of the 3 ends?

And yes, I thought it would take longer to get this old!

I remember that and also when they began playing on the new artificial turf. The only complaint seemed to be it was hard as a rock.
