Got the pile stacked this morning while it was raining. Tigger approved of the stack. Almost 1/2 cord from those 7 logs. 0323221001a.jpg

After getting all the long hickory logs processed, we cut some older oak and tulip poplar for campfire wood. 0330222146_HDR.jpg 0331222047b.jpg 0331222048.jpg 0331222206_HDR.jpg
    Delivered 2 loads Friday morning,
Friday afternoon, we went to Macon and got new shoes for the wood hauler

Late Sunday evening and Monday morning, we moved the longer pecan to the area where the hickory was, off the ground now... 0404220919_HDR.jpg
Cleaned up the area where the pecan was, set up 2 more poles for the next bunch of oak that will soon be coming in... 0404221048.jpg

Look at you in a T-shirt @ night... show-off. We're still a bit away from that here in southern PA. And Cooper's were real good tires when I had 'em. Those rears look real similar to the Duratrac's that I'm hooked on. Should do very well for you. :handshake:

Thanks, my friend. I had a set of Coopers years ago on another truck, got really good mileage out of them, I think these have a 60-65k wear warranty...
That's the thing about down here in the South, it can get cold at night, but usually warms up fast during the day. It was in the 60's that night, I think. It was back in the 30's the other morning...:loco: :loco: ...
Hope you have a great day.

We had 5 big short hickory logs from a score back in Aug '21 left. 0809211919.jpg
After getting all the bark free hickory bucked, decided it was time to tackle these. 0406221133b.jpg 0406221133.jpg 0406221154.jpg
Had to trim a few knots 0406221200.jpg
Got all the hickory on the woodyard bucked. 0406221230.jpg

While we were at Tony's getting more oak, a friend asked about wood chips. Well Tony has a chipper and a big pile. He said get what we needed.

We got all the hickory on the woodyard split or noodled and stacked. About 3.5 cords, clean wood. 0419221728_HDR.jpg
Our grass cutting jobs are beginning to get busy. We cut this yard Friday morning. They want it cut about every 7-10 days 0422221406.jpg 0422221406a.jpg

Great looking inventory there! Is that more, less or about the same you like to have on hand for hickory?
How many mowing customers do you have?

A friend called, said he had a big limb down in the driveway from the storm we had Friday evening. It's on my way to work, so took a look. Went Tuesday morning, on the way to another job. Cut up what was on the ground. 22741.jpeg
Close to a pickup load 0510220945a.jpg
Decided the other was too dangerous to deal with. Maybe the wind will bring it down or he can get a tree service to do it. 22740.jpeg
The fork is wedged against a sweet gum and the main stem. House service is just below it too. 22742.jpeg

I was able to get this huge equipment skid from the scrap pallet pile this morning at work. Glad there was a forklift handy. 0514221034.jpg

Gonna break it down and make pads for the man lift outriggers to set on.
