Finally started splitting

    Fired up the splitter and got some split. I figured 4 cord in the unsplit pile but I might have called that a little low.

    Yeah. The grass really takes off here this time of year. Lots of time spent with the mower.

    Quite the piles there sir. Good to get after it. Has the weather been cooperating? Is there a rain/dry season in your neck of the woods?

    Can count on rain just about any time, but might get two or three nice month in the Summer. It doesn’t always rain steady so can get out between showers to get some done. Now that I’m retired I don’t have to work in the rain unless I want to.

    I started bucking mine up a few weeks ago, got about 10 chord bucked up and another 10 to go, then split the 20 chord. The only problem I have is there is still 3 feet of snow here


    But there's no mosquitoes
