Ok, for those that have social media I'm sure you've seen the ALS Challenge that has been going viral the past week or two......it's to spread awareness and raise funds for ALS research (Lou Gherig's Disease)......it's a great cause that has gotten a LOT of attention. It more or less entails you being "nominated" by your peers to take a bucket of ice water and dump it on yourself (or having someone do it for you), you have 24 hours from the time you are nominated to do the challenge or else you gotta make a donation of 100 bucks to the ALSA. If you DO the challenge, you are still encouraged to make a minimum 10 dollar donation. I knew someone who recently died from this horrible disease, It's a great cause for a worthy fight. I'm willing to wait. The 24 thing I just barely beat. I had till 6 o'clock. My video finally posted after that, but was recorded just before. Only because my wife just got home... Waiting patiently.
I believe the ALS awareness (challenge) started in Mass? So it went viral locally fairly quick. I rec'd 2 challenges in 3 days time, it was fun. But, some of the people I challenged were in other parts of the country and they had no idea what was going on. It looks like it's finally caught up. Thanks for sharing
