I dont know about the rest of you, but I like to take care of myself. Not always easy to accept help or advice, and yes, I know it’s not the most healthy outlook. Anyways, my brother with four kids, a wife, and not a ton of extra cash, tells me he has something for me. He’s been doing some tree jobs with me, and we really have been enjoying the time together. So he gets in the back of his truck and pulls out this little climbing saw! My first instinct was that he shouldn’t be doing this and I needed to pay him for it. I didn’t feel like that was the right thing to do though. He was smiling ear to ear and I could tell he was digging my amazement. Anyways, just wanted to share how great a brother I have! That is a nice gift and great brother. Shows he is really appreciative of the jobs and time together.
    Is that the 2511T?
I was given a 2511T for Father's Day last year.

Very great gesture! I'm sure he already knows your level of appreciation and I'm sure you'll return the favor in some way. Maybe to him the time spent together is enough. Coming from a highly dysfunctional family, it's great to read your post Haftacut.

    That's wayyyyyyy cool!
Good family relationships are precious, the gesture is of more value that any gift.

It is the the 2511 T.Jeff Veal ! I bought the 355t last year, and I love it, but the 2511 is much smaller compared to it and weighs significantly less. Sure they’ll both have their place, but feeling the 2511 may be first choice in the tree now:yes:

It’s too bad we don’t have the right “saw” emoji to match your time frame…

Scotty has 2 or 3 of those 2511's.
I think Kevin ported 1 for him, he said it's like a lightsaber now...

Kevin did my 2511P. Oh My! What a nasty lil ripper. I also run Echo's optional .043 guage 3/8 lp bar and chain combo. Zero chatter even stock.

Nice. Ours definitely needs some work. I'm running the 3/8 LP .050 gauge, trying to keep # of different chains down.

I can understand that but my T and the P chattered badly stock. I swapped out before even being ported. I recently watched a vid where a guy switched bto full chisel 3)8 lp 050 vs stock and the chatter was drastically reduced.
