    It would be interesting to know if the tree fell during the job or not. If the snow wasn't so danged deep, I would've gotten a close up pic of the back side of the tree.

    Maybe the woodpecker got his bill pinched in the tree? :whistle:

    I wonder if they carry spares to peck the pinched one loose? Of course that wouldn't work anyways since they have inboard mounts :hair:

    Yup, saw that right away! That truck is still running around; I see it from time to time. That guy got a good deal! (the beaver in the pic didn't get a good deal)

    at one time, on the internet, there was a picture of a big tree with a beavers skull locked in the break of the tree, it apparently had fell as he was cutting it, killing him, and trapped his skull in the tree.

    Not as bad as that poor coon dog that had gotten into a hollow tree......but never got out!
