    The enemy of our soul seeks to rob us of our inheritance in Christ. His lies are meant to devastate our lives and destroy our faith in God. The devil attempts to derail us by intimidation, seduction and deception. When faced with fear, temptation and uncertainty, remember the devil's purpose is to defraud you of abundance in your natural life and eternal rest in Christ. Continue to follow the voice of God and to stand in the truth of His Word.

    "And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers." (John 10:4-5)

    QUESTION: Do you know the difference between the voice of God and the voice of the enemy?

    PRAYER: Help me to immediately recognize the lies of the devil. May I have the strength to overcome the lies of the enemy and remain steadfast in my faith.

    My Grandmother, and now my Mother, make some really good corn chowder with bacon and onions in it. I need to get the recipe from my mother and have a discussion on how to make it up. I haven’t had that in a long time.

    My wife makes corn chowder. She uses half and half, butter, corn and creamed corn, onions, potatoes and BACON, salt and pepper to taste. I have never seen her measure anything in it.

    Funny that I came on the other day and wondered where everyone was. Makes cents what your saying because I to need be working outside allot. We have mud season right now but I'm not complaining about that. :)

    We have had some settling. Even a small amount of dripping off the eaves. But no melting yet.
