Survey company around the farm, doing statutory confirmation of section corners. Husband and wife team using their technology. Ran into a problem when a tree trunk that blocked our logging road was laid on top of one of the markers put in by a previous private survey. He cut up a few sections for me to get a start on it.

Been looking at that log for three years deciding when to cut it up. Was down with the tractor to move the log around, then pulled some fence posts for replacement.

    IDENTIFY THE SOURCE OF LIES

Jesus told the Pharisees, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (John 8:44)

The devil is the enemy of our souls. Any words which are in opposition to what God has said is a lie from him. Fear, insecurity, anxiety, depression, and hopelessness are fruits of his lies. His attacks on God’s people have escalated as the end of time rapidly approaches. The devil knows his time is short. He knows he can’t win, so he is not pulling any punches or playing by the rules. The enemy is doing the only thing he can, and that is to lie . . . about everything.

QUESTION: What has the devil said to you that has challenged you or hindered your progress in life?

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, help me to identify and reject the lies the devil has spoken over my life from birth to this present time. Teach me to pull up the lies that have taken root in my life and to cast down those which the devil will speak against me in the future.

That is our state bird, but we rarely see them now. I’m surprised any bird would eat a stink bug. I need to figure out a way to attract bluebirds.

This is a poem my mom wrote for our aunt's funeral several years ago. We included it on mom's funeral program yesterday... 0318220818.jpg

Spring is a great time to think about cleaning the lint filter for the drier. Yeah, I know, I clean the lint off after every use. But, softener gums up the mesh and impeded the air flow. I found that a vinegar water mixture, with light scrubbing from a brush (fingernail brush and old toothbrush for the corners/edges) quickly removes the gunk.

I still need to brush out the exhaust, but according to this morning's laundry load, the drier is already much happier.
