True BUT didn’t I scrimp, save and work hard to give children a better life?? Yes but needs values not just privileges
There's a big difference in giving a better start in life and teaching them the value in a good work ethic and a hard days work. And giving a "better" life were everything is handed to them and they think they are entitled to everything as they never had to earn anything.
I was hoping someone would make that point, we had very little money when the kids were growing up, all three of my girls learned the value of a dollar.
I worked at a gas station in high school, one day a very nice looking mother and daughter with short skirts were getting gas, it's tough getting the windshield clean when you are looking at nice legs.
Went to the store I buy my bar oil from yesterday, it was on sale last week at 10.99 pr gallon, that’s up from a yr ago just 1.00 not too bad, actually acceptable. Now, yesterday’s price is back UP, to 14.99 pr gallon. Guessing this “might” be the new “normal”looking like it more EVERY DAY! !
We had the same three blondes going to church every Sunday morning wearing the same....short dresses were in style back then. The guys would see that car roll into the station and would literally run out to them!!!! We always said they had the cleanest windshield in town!
