Morning All. yes, the sun came out yesterday and it was beautiful. Late lunch was awesome but I ate too much. We haven't been back in the old church for 50 years. It was nice to see some things remained the same. When the building was built as a church, my parents were involved. Dad helped with the construction and did the wiring. As it was panabode construction, he was quite fussy with the looks of the wiring. It is still there.
Heavy overcast again this morning. campinspecter has curling to watch all day today. Mens' Canadian championship all week.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning everybody. 38*out. Dark, dreary day. Been raining most of the time.
Hope you get good news on your hand Mike.
Sounds like some nice weather Jeff.
    Have a good day all.

    No surgery.....for now.

A cast and a follow-up appointment next week.

I'll spare you from the xray and cool bruise patterns.

I fell on ice in 2006 and broke my arm in 3 places. 2 places in my wrist and near my elbow. I had surgery and with the exception of my wrist not bending quite as much as the other, everything is pretty much normal. That wrist has hand split a lot of wood since.

Good afternoon! 86F and partly sunny in central Florida. I'm a little behind here. My FIL came home (FL) Saturday afternoon. Home health care came to visit yesterday and a therapist evaluated him today. He's doing remarkably well and very unhappy that he's being told he can't do any of the things he wants to. We're trying to encourage him while he heals. He should be much better than before the surgery if he just takes time to let his body heal. My last interviewee didn't show today so I decided to see what was happening here. It's about time to go find some diner. I'm starving (not literally). Have a God day!

If all goes well, I have someone that'll dress up the cast a bit.

    Good morning, everyone.

Mid 30's and breezy. Aside from where it was piled up, all snow has melted. Snow forecasted for tomorrow.

Adjusting to life wearing a cast.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning everyone! Sorry I've been MIA...with my husband out of town, I've gone a bit feral. My routines are off. But, I've gotten a lot done. Today I'll tackle tax prep. I'll pick up Tod at 11P at the airport.
Mike, sorry your hand is out of commission for awhile. The wooding will keep. At least after this possible snow, it's looking like spring.
Jeff, I know you and Carol are having a blast!

All things considered, not too bad.

The cast is bulkier and heavier than the splint. Things could be worse.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. We are finally getting off the ship today. Port of Cozumel. Have a shore excursion planned, driving a jeep to an area for the day. Our partners are going with us. Miz Suzanne should be able to get off. The knee scooter does slow her down. Had a good time at the ship meet-up for the 50th birthday celebration. 7 ships total.
Oldest ship in the fleet, Carnival Ecstasy. It will be retired in Oct this year. Started service in 1989. 0307221642.jpg
The newest ship so far, Carnival Mardi Gras. We were supposed to go on it in Oct '19, but got cancelled. They didn't get the ship until late November that year. It is huge... 0307221657.jpg
5 of the ships on our port side. Mardi Gras, Vista, Pride, Breeze, Sunrise 0307221659.jpg
Well, we are off to breakfast and adventures. Wish y'all were with us.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

T.Jeff Veal that was certainly something to see all the ships together like that.
Midwinter we missed you. It sounds like a productive time you had. Will Tod recognize the house when he gets back?

Overcast again today. It seems to burn off by noon and then cloud over again by late afternoon. I think we have a couple of days of this to go. Off to work again and leaving campinspecter with chores and curling to watch.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good eve. Spent another day going through stuff in the house. It has taking me a while to feel up to it and its going to take me a long time to get it done. Fixed some door hinges in the kitchen and replaced the outside door lockset. Been doing some deep frying and been enjoying learning about that. My chicken and fries aren't that bad. :) I'm really looking forward to working in the shop more and outside on the house. Won't be long now. Have a good one everyone.

    Good morning, everyone.

Just below freezing and overcast. Snow here by noon. 2-3 inches forecasted. Roads should stay just wet, mostly.

I'm off to the dentist for regular maintenance. I did go for a short drive yesterday. I was able to grab the steering wheel tightly with my right hand, steering mostly with my left..

As it's a minor event, I'm looking forward to watching it snow later from my recliner, with the wood stove cranking. Solid opportunity for a nap.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

A bar stencil made with that logo would be neat. I have several bare bars that could be spruced up.
