Had to go to Hastings, NE. (2.5 hours) for a job. Then had to run to get taxes done in Ord, another 1.5 hours away. Got out of there and there was sleet so had to drive through that for an hour to get out of it so long day. 25f today with a light breeze, but hoping for 40 for the high. Mixed wood in the stove including ash.

36° out now. Snow about to hit us. Midnight-early afternoon tomorrow. 2-4" of the wet heavy concrete type of snow.

I'll snowblow after work tomorrow. It probably will melt pretty quickly anyways, so I won't bother to try to clean it up before I drive on it with my truck to go to work.

76° inside, ash elm and Norway maple in the stove.

Hanging at 60 here, 74 in. No fire but we're not done by a long shot. Arctic blast supposed to come in late week. Took a load down to a widow from church this evening.

32 this morning with some light snow.

Yesterday's wind was not as bad as expected. The high winds were early and most places saw 50-55 mph wind. Airport near Saginaw had top speed with 67 mph. That one really shook things up.

Currently 61 in Gaithersburg MD (covering a shop down here for work). We left the fire go out yesterday morning and with over 70 degrees yesterday, I didn't light up for the night. Supposed to hit 70 again today. The pond frogs sure were singing! Saw 2 large fields of lush green on our way yo Coatsville yesterday to pick up the new pooch.

Yeah we had at heavy 2" of snow. I didn't even bother to start the snowblower. Most of the driveway melted the snow off of it with the sun, and the rest will hopefully melt tomorrow.

31° out now, going to 19° tonight. But 43 and sunny tomorrow.

Ash in the quadrafire, and probably more of that tonight

Was -6 here at the house this morning when I checked.
Gorgeous blue sky sunny day. . High was around 20+ ° F.
    Last I checked it was +13°F .
Fkws + fkbs in the stove.
Will be glad when this head cold goes away. Didn't go to the woods today. But had plenty of projects to do here at home. Including changing oil in our van . Had a good 15 to 20 knot breeze blowing so I put on my Minus 50 RefrigeWear coveralls. Laying on the ice wasn't my favorite thing to do. But it was such a beautiful day. I didn't want to spend all day indoors.
