So sorry to see this....like so many others have said...you being ok is more important....but still gotta make you mad about the saw Just about all of us have been there to some extent. Hang in there...itll get better.
eBay sellers raise their prices to a hideous amount that no one will pay when they are out of an item. It’s easier to raise the price way up than it is to create a new listing
Sorry about your saw, Mr Woods. The case is thin on these, so inspect it really well when you get some parts removed. I bet it’s cracked in there somewhere
I can be in a few weeks, at least enough to get parts counted and ordered. About 10-12 weeks though for port work
Hey, it didn't hit the tractor and winch . But still a big "sorry man" is due. The hardest guy to be mad at is yourself. You'll be throwing chips again with that saw by early summer.
Ouch !! as always they make saws every day , Glad you are ok !!! and one thing for sure as always happens with me the expensive lessons are the ones I never forget JB
You must be sick over that. I know I am just looking at it. Very glad no one was hurt! Either rebuild or buy a new one right away...get right back on the horse and move on!
...Glad you and the tractor are ok. If the tree had to hit something, it was the least expensive thing you had in the woods. Hope you can get it fixed. We had a similar experience with hinge broke several years ago. Cutting a big triple stem sweet gum, had wedges in, I had pulled the saw out, beat on wedge, didn't realize I had clipped far edge of hinge, it fell sideways, towards the tractor with my hunny sitting on it...she saw it start her way and got the tractor moved... We both had the shakes for awhile... Hope you can get the saw fixed.
Sorry about your accident . But glad you weren’t hurt . Depending on the cost to replace all the broken/ bent / cracked parts , I think I’d just go new saw . Then , I’d keep anything salvageable from the old saw as spares .
We all make mistakes. This tree did nearly a full 180 and landed dead on top of where I was standing to make the back cut. Luckily the saw came with me when I beat feet to get out of there. Glad your ok, saw can be fixed or replaced.
Glad you are OK and only "stuff" got damaged. I am glad I don't have to drop trees to often. Most of my cutting is on downed trees. Mother nature can be your friend.
Have you taken the saw apart and evaluated the damage? Gonna just fix or fix and modify or lick your wounds and replace?
