A few nights in New Hampshire

The thing about that cabin is, that it's reserved through the federal national park system. One of the guidelines is to limit cars to 3. We had 8 last Sunday. I suspect it's to prevent the place from becoming a frat party house in warmer weather.

 

Unfortunately it broke and don't make parts for it any more.

 

You weren't wearing a tie and aviator sunglasses were you?

 

I'll look around between now and November to see if there is someplace close we could get together to sit and chew the fat if a few more decide they want to come up for a few hours. My place isn't set up for a 'community' gathering however I have a friend with a great firepit area that may allow us to use it (would only be about 11 miles or so from the cabin). A lot depends on variables, such as November weather, however it would prevent any issues with the USFS at the cabin.

 

The highlight was the walk through the knee deep snow to to the outhouse, Jack Straw would have loved it at 10 degrees above. And free, no quarters needed!

 

Didn't have to crawl under to save a quarter, huh?
