What kind of chain is this?

    I found 2 old fishback chains in my antique (Junkpile) collection. One has the drivelinks drilled for extra oil capacity.

    Interesting. I didn't look at this one close enough to notice if it has it or not. Gonna check in the morning. Is "fishback" the proper or common name?

    safety chain...reduces kickback. Usually sold on cheapo saws used by inexperienced homeowners.

    It looks like it's Xtraguard or something close from the 1982 Oregon catalog.
