No worries. Hoarding potential is unlimited. My time isn't. I've stopped scrounging on MP. I have 3 properties that I can cut all the downed trees I want on (there are hundreds). However, I've gotten hooked up with a tree service so I haven't been out cutting. When things dry up, I'll get on that.

Sales are pretty steady. I had no idea what to expect during my first winter but I'm pleased. I ran out of dry wood and had to buy some. I've finally caught up with inventory and should have enough to last through summer at least. I'm still working on next winter's inventory.

Tell me how you did it! I have a ridiculous supply of dead standing oak and I still scour CL and MP looking for easy scores. :picard:

I did practically nothing, to be honest. My in-laws have 40 acres of woods. My neighbor across the road had his woods logged a few years back and told me to take anything I want. Another person 5 miles from me found me on Google (firewood seller). He had his place logged in the fall and wants the tops to be cleaned up and put to use. I didn't even have to ask anyone. I won't need to cut a tree down for the rest of my life (although I'm not the guy that sells 100+ cords a year either). Sometimes the Good Lord just dumps out blessings!

Nice load Jason. How old is your son and how good is he with a saw? Im surprised you'd let anyone use one of yours, but for him you made an exception?

    Oh he's pretty good w/ a saw.

Especially in square wood. Here he is (with his own Mike Lee ported Husky) racing a known "fast" Squeal ('17).

He's 21 now. First gtg was in '14.
