Found this Biber Hookaroon at my local hardware store today. It wasn't cheap, but man is it solid. It has a 43" Hickory handle and an 11" hook. I was taking imaginary practice swings in the store with it. My wife walked up and said, "I'll buy that for you, babe" I didn't argue. I have been contemplating buying one for a long time. It will help me unload rounds out of my truck, and help drag big rounds to the hydro. I'm really stoked!
Hey way to go!! That is a beauty. The hook on the beak looks just right as well as the grain on the handle. You must have a good wife there too Cash, hang on tight to both of them!
She's wonderful, man. She's so supportive. She's way out of my league in the looks department too. I'm not sure what she see's in me
x 2 on exactly this. Great tools to have!!! Now you will be asking yourself " Why did I wait so long "?
Great tool Cash! Looks almost like a twin to mine. I think the handle is a bit longer than mine. You will love it. Your wife sounds just like mime was. Love her and keep her.
I got one similar for 60 bucka at my local hardware store…you will love it i always use it…great for pulling rounds out of piles …i was using it the other day to drag pre split rounds up to the log splitter my buddy running..eliminating alot of bending over…my brother has a sthil version and its a piece of junk compared to these long wood handle ones…you will get the hang of it and love it im sure
Also congrats on havin a nice wife…mine would have scolded me inside the store for all to see “you already have an axe put it back!”
That made me chuckle.... Oh the things we do..... Not knocking it cause I find myself doing the same...just many people wouldn't understand. Very nice of your wife to understand and be supportive!
Great tool! Great wife! My home made one does okay for unloading. Wanna see pics of it in action Cash. Next time you go to the chain saw store take your wife with you!
Enjoy the new tool.....I always have the Hookaroon in the truck......Really helps out with the rounds!
Looks nice! I need to get some log tongs too. I’d also like to have a Cant hook, if I ever have some money burning a hole in my pocket.
