I had a 91 with 360 that looked just like that minus the Ram on the hood...Best truck I ever had although it did look a little old manish! Now I see she is for sale...9K, how many miles!
Xactly! And changed the history of the light-duty truck market (otherwise known as the HD pick-ups) forever. But what drives me really crazy is, the "cummins" diesel that put dodge on the map was not used in the ram 1/2 ton. FCA used their own (problematic) VM Motori diesel instead. And it flopped. Cummins and the EPA developed the v8 cummins for 10 years for 1/2 ton trucks/suv's market then FCA screwed it up! Ultimately the Nissan got the cummins...and four years later, nissan's diesel line flopped.
Sweet...you on the NLVFD? Thanks for your service if you are...hope we never need it! Although I guess we are in OFD territory, or EWFD...depending on who you talk to...
I am not but sure have a bunch of memories of the place growing up. My buddies grandfather used to run that machine. They are having a community valentines/steak dinner tonight. Surely to spill over to the watering hole when done.
Here is a few shots of what I have. I have had both now for a bout 25 years. Still get the out and drive them. 54 buick. 46 ford.
I picked up these...241 Dodge and 330 Desoto. I'd like to find a '32 - '38 Dodge/Plymouth pickup for the 241, use a '75ish up (overdrive) A833 4 speed and I know I have a Chrysler B body 8.75 rear somewhere laying around.
