    49 degrees and rain expected with temperatures in the 50s. To warm for a fire now. Shoveled out ashes yesterday and laid kindling with a newspaper twist before wood got wet. When winter returns I am one match away from some good heat.

    This is out where I live, how would you like to be out rounding them up in this weather? That said, the wind is pretty calm and the sun it out thankfully.

    Now that's simply too much furnace use!

    I didn't burn alot this year, this fireplace insert gets the living room sweltering, I'll usually start it below 20-25⁰ and turn a pedestal fan on but we didn't have alot of days at or below those temps. Have to burn all this firewood up next winter![​IMG]
