Haha. I'm not worried at walmart. Target here is yuppies. I only go in there when my wife drags me, looking for something we can't find elsewhere. Besides, target doesn't have a hunting/gun/ammo/fishing section.

Plus, they never have the guns/ammo/car/truck/OPE parts that I'm shopping for... :hair:

I've noticed that at more places than Wally World. I've felt it at two prominent grocery store chains for the Northeast as well as the BBS home improvement places. Everywhere is trying to save where they can so they don't have to raise prices as much to offset their raised costs. Around here, energy prices (depending on provider) have been raised up to 120%. In the last year, just the electricity charges per kwh have gone up about 65% for my provider (the largest in the state).

I can't say about Walmart but when I grocery shop in Meijers, my feet are about freezing after only about 5-10 minutes. It seems to be that way in all their stores. I've been in 4 different ones and had the same thing happen.

Brrr, there was a nice new store at my old house, polished cement floor, I had boots like this and wore them most of the time I remembered, the platform sole helped from the cement sucking the heat from my feet. LOL, people might look at you funny if wore boots like these, I wonder if men's work boots the thick lug soles might do the same for you?

How many wood stoves does it take to heat a Wal-Mart?

we've finally learned that the quality is so poor, it is well worth the cost to go elsewhere.
    Exceptions:
    Ball canning jars
    Food storage containers
    Propane cyl
T-shirts which I go through fast wherever they come from

Everything else, if I can find it elsewhere first, I will.
