    OMG!! That thing is massive! It’s funny - I will take detours to show my wife and son trees that I like. Thought I was the only one.

    That's an incredible tree, I'd be heartbroken to have to be the one to take it down, but I'd sure love to climb it!!

    Never seen one that big, but whenever I see a old tree, I always think of the generations of people who have stood in its shade, climbed it, a farmer who took lunch under it with his horses. Just cool to think of something being around for so long! Perhaps not the only fire this tree has been through either. Wonder how much metal there is in the first 6 feet or so!

    I'd hate to see that turned into firewood. But... if that were its destiny, I'd guess a LOT! It would be another noodle-rama! I can't imagine there are too many mills that could deal with such girth.
