Hi. I have a Regency HI300 insert and I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the secondary burn pipes that run "across the roof" of the stove. One of them is bent and I'd like to replace it but I can't figure out how to remove the darn thing. I could just break it I guess but my fear is that a piece will stay stuck in the whole where I need to put the new pipe in. Thanks!

Another reason I want to remove at least one of the pipes is to be able to sweep from the bottom up. In your opinion, what is the best brush for a 6" flue? The one I recently got has very stiff bristles () but seems to be the recommended one for metal flues.

I use a sooteater from the bottom and just fit it between the burn tubes.
