Wordle - A daily word game Anyone play the game? You get 6 tries to guess the word. Correct letters appear yellow, but that means they are not in their correct location. Correct letter, correct location turns green. And when you guess a letter that is not used, it turns dark on your keyboard selection of letters so you don't use it again. Everyone gets the same word daily (so don't spoil it). Wordle 234 3/6 ⬜⬜ ⬜ Slow days at the office, this passes some time. Here's a previous word. Using the same letter twice got me.

Ya, I'm a junkie for the newspaper games-crossword sudoku kakuro and any of them, we don't have paper delivery out here so it's a treat when I get one. I got todays in 4 , it was the 3rd letter that took an extra line. Was hooked on this below for a few years before we had a child, it hybrid kakuro & sudoku. FUN! Killer Sudoku by Krazydad
I heard the guy that created it just sold it to the NY Times for 7 figures. It just launched in October.
On the news tonight was a story of a woman who was held hostage in her home and because she didn't play Wordle or answer her texts in the morning, her daughter across the country phoned the cops to check her out. After an hour standoff, the guy surrendered. She was unharmed.
