Posted this before but seems to be some new blood here that is catching on to smoked chuck. Whenever I make this, everyone loves it for sandwiches and the leftovers make so for many different uses. Burritos top the list Freezes very well to if you want to make enough for that Beef Cuts for the Smoker | Firewood Hoarders Club
Had some good friends over last night for cards so threw some steaks on the grill. Two filets and a big ol’ T-bone. Last t bone I had in the freezer from before prices went nuts, cried a little while grilling that guy. Think I paid around 10 bucks a pound for a whole prime loin, who knows what it is today. Made some homemade fries also. Was about 3 degrees!
Not from the smoker but fried up some scrapple, Canadian bacon and an egg for a sammich this morning.
That steak looks great g60gti... Smokinpiney...Scrapple, Yuck yuck yuck, Where is the throwup emoji!! Lol
Nice sunny 30 degree day for smoking some strips! Applewood smoked then two minutes a side sear in the house. A little side of sweet potato fries with honey mustard (The ketchup wasn’t that good on them)
Hey SKEETER McCLUSKEY , how’d I do? Not on the grill or smoker. In the oven at 325. Probably should have done them at a lower temp to make the ham less crisp.. tough putting a square ham in a round hole but it worked.. home made chili from canned ingredients. Eggs from the girls out back. Ham donated by Wilbur..
4 burgers = 2 lbs. Perfect ratio. Big fan of just a good burger any day and that could be breakfast, lunch or supper.
