 :lol:I here that! In order to get back on track with my less debt for retirement plan I will need to get the heavy duty work done with this CAT 426 backhoe and then sell it. Buy a less expensive tractor and call it a day on bigger, heavy equipment.

Thanks. I’ve wanted to try one of these for a long time. But price was too much. Im glad I checked Craigslist, again. Saw it just about 20-30 minutes after he posted it. He laughed when I picked it up and we were loading it. He said I had just posted it like 10 minutes before you called! Perfect!

It’s an ice capade here today I’m glad I have a big can of ash I can spread all over the driveway and walk way that freezing rain was nasty. I’m glad that I didn’t have to drive in it

Figured out what woke me up yesterday morning at 0-dark-thirty. Earthquakes (even small ones) make a lot of noise in the mountains.

Could some smart plugs help you by being able to remotely"plug in" the block heaters so they are ready when you want them to be without having to go outside beforehand?

My driveway is nowhere near that. But it won't stop me. Be discreet and there's no problem, even on only an acre, and everyone else has the same lot size here, for the most part. Trees, sheds, bushes, etc help.

Back in college, I learned that you can even do this on a tiny crowded city lot. As long as you have the permission of the owner. Long story short, a friend had to pee, and we only had 1 bathroom. It was homecoming weekend at college and yes, we were drinking. Friend says, "I'll just go outside". I said Ok. Except there were cops walking on the sidewalk. They gave him a ticket for "public urination" . I showed up in court to defend him, and they threw the ticket out after I told the judge that he had permission. Case closed.

Nice to see you back on here Canadian border VT !

    Wyze Plug Outdoor

Outdoor rated, home Depot even carries them. If you don't need the outdoor rated ones, they have a 2 pack of those for 15-20 bucks, $20 at home Depot and those indoor rated ones can handle 1800 watts, 15 amps. The outdoor rated one is 15 amps per each outlet, and 1800 watts max per side.

Here's the non outside weather rated ones https://www.homedepot.com/p/Wyze-Wi...I9tofi3LRXdT1vFjtzEaAkvMEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

There's other brands though, I just like this company. Everything I have bought from them is awesome.

Yeah those will work too, but you'll end up wasting more $ by having them turn on every day. If you don't use the machine every day at least. Those smart plugs I linked are $10 each for the non outdoor rated ones from HD, but about 7.50 from wyze. The outdoor rated 2 plug one is $12 from wyze and a little more from HD
