Huge gust of wind this afternoon. Black clouds, then big rain drops, the sun comes out, this goes on and on all afternoon. The wind blows so hard, the already leafless trees are bending and swaying. Leaves flying around like bees around a nest. That old north wind is trying to move on in and push out the more mild fall weather. Fire is going, already have been to the store, dogs are in, so let 'her rip!
Weird weather here too. Cooling off tonight, they're calling for 18 degrees. We've had some wind with enough rain. We had 1.8 cord of shoulder season wood ready for this year, by the middle or the end of next week we'll have burned .61 of a cord.
We have some warm weather moving in for Thursday night or Friday, supposed to be near 60, that could bring in some high winds.
Except for 2 days early last week with low 40's & cold rain then a morning low of 31 last Thursday - its been from 55 to lo 60's ever since.Supposed to be upper 40's & light rain tomorrow & Wednesday.No snow here yet,even with the cold mornings last week.North & east of me about a 100 miles they did see a couple inches on grassy areas though.It was gone in a few hours. It'll be here before long.I'm ready,just as always anymore.
Sounds like us yesterday. I tried 3 different times to get out to get some work done, and got rained on each time.
