Colder here. What's your temp? What ya burnin?

We were just above 30 this morning with more maple going in the wood stove, the temp up here is 70.

We received more rain than snow overnight but the roads are good and the driveway has snow on it and not ice. Most of our snow (6-11) will come during the day and tonight.

 

Got a drift forming around the boiler. That wasn't there earlier this morning. Lots of snow and wind.

 

Today is the 4th or 5 day of wind since Sunday. It's seems to be stuck at around 10 below and blowing 20 to 35 mph for the past 18 hours.

20 °F out , not bad but with the NE wind 20 mph Gusts to 25 mph stove room is only at 75 °F
weather guessers say 6 °F for the low tonight

Good grief, it’s 72 and sunny three counties SE of me.
I came home to a chilly house, so I had to get the stove popping with some oak. Rain again tomorrow until the cold front gets here.

High of 19 here today with a stiff north wind. Cruising on Oak & Beech.

 

,24 now, 71 in. Calling for 16 overnight with wind, snow and sleet. Went out for work to look at a few wrecks this morning but came back home to finish the day before I became another wreck. Freezing rain had kicked in about 5 a.m. this morning, turned to sleet about 11 and sleet and snow has been blowing against the windows since then. Just plain nasty out. Just loaded ash and sycamore for the evening.

 

Low of 13.6°F this morning. Got up to 39.7°F with clear skies and wind. Tonight they're calling for a similar low.

 

Current temp is 36F, yesterday this time it was 71F, tomorrow mornings temp is projected to be 26F. Too cold for me!!! and we are supposed to get two more days of this weather.
Got the stove fired-up with two-year-old red oak.....life is good.

 

All that stuff sticking to the trees is not good , I hope everything will turn out OK

 

21 going down to 14 tonight. Red oak in the Lopi. Temps in the low 30’s tomorrow then up into the low 40’s Sat & Sun.

I don’t know where she parked or why she didn’t come down the road further but this Amazon delivery girl , wasn’t messing around , she just ran through the front yard and got the job done , package delivered, good job
