    Image from another forum and a guy who usually hits weather events on the head. I'm making sure my generator starts, wood is brought in and we have plenty of French Toast supplies. Just wanted to give fellow hoarders a heads up.

    We haven't had a bad ice storm since 2007. We didn't have power for over a week, internet was down for 2 weeks. I told my wife last week we were about due. We'll see how this one plays out. I'll have my saws and all extra chains sharp tonight. Last one brought tons of limbs down.

    Looks pretty nasty...........! We just got about 10 inches here in S.Jersey down by the shore a bit more. Hard to really tell the snow drifts were very high. Wind was whipping pretty good, got a bunch of snow in my wood shed and my stash on porch all got covered pretty good.

    Uggg. I'd rather have a foot or two of snow over 1/2" of ice. That said Its actually looking like we might not get much of anything as far North / west we are in Michigan.

    We are *right* on the line between 3.5 and 15.8. That's a pretty wide range...anything could happen.

    That 1.62 is only about 40 miles south...and could easily swing up here.

    I filled up the gas cans this morning. Making a grocery store run this evening.

    Monday/Tuesday is my normal grocery day. There's enough food in this house to last a long time, but there's only so many pork chops and pots of deer chili I can take.

    The first time I heard somebody from MA say "hamburg" I was very confused. We just call it hamburger....whether it is on a bun or in anything else.
