Are you kidding me on that cost? :bug: :hair: No way I would consider doing something like that where you are just watching a sport. But then, I won't even watch it on tv.

Morning All. Windy all day yesterday and today we get the rain. Perfect day to watch curling in the morning (right now), football games and curling when the football isn't on. I just might head down to the sewing room to finish a project that has been on hold. Working four days this week so not a lot of sewing time available. It is so close to being finished and I have another project in mind to do.

    Everyone have a great day.

Oh Ya.. 12 to 16 I guess. Hard to tell because because of the strong winds and lots of drifting snow. Man was it cold but not to bad now :) Had a lot of shoveling to do to get my tractor out and other areas. No big deal except I'm been having trouble with my right side for quite a while and waiting for a MRI on my lower back. It was light snow but there is allot of ice from the last storm so it was fun.. LOL. I got it done good enough but will work on it more before the next storm. I came in and made breakfast and am going to take it easy today and eat everything in the house. Hope you and everyone have a great Sunday.

Since Oct. I did it picking Barbara up off the floor not long before she passed. The kitten is doing great. Molly and Tod came up for a visit and brought some toys for her. She has been enjoying them allot. I really like having the cat here and glad I have her. It helps.

Curious how this week will pan out. First a huge storm was going to hit us. Then it changed to just small amounts. Then it was cancelled altogether. I turn on the computer before 2:00 am and now we're going back up. Anywhere from 1-2" to 3-6". The joys of media forecasting...

Some are better than others. But generally, i just looks at the temperatures. They usually are spot on with temps.
Forecasting precipitation is way different. The jet stream is constantly changing. 50 miles can mean the difference of 1-2" or 1-2' here on the eastern seaboard. Sometimes we get flurries sometimes its Snowmageddon.

Don't forget, these tv/news channels need to sell advertising, so the more they change the forecast, the more often you'll come back and watch. If they said, it'll be sunny and 65 for the next 10 days, you'd turn off the tv and not come back for 10 days...

    Remember the old saying?...

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Got the load of wood delivered Saturday evening, that was a cold day. It was 18° Sunday morning, but the Drolet kept up, had to add some really dry(7-8 yr) tulip poplar a couple times during the night. About the time Sunday School was over, we heard sirens come by. Our neighbor, Mike, had a chimney fire. His mom had put some paper in the Fisher stove. Really scared them both. Fire dept got it out quick, no damage. I got our big shop vac and helped him get the water off the floor and out of the stove. Brought big fan too the dry floor. He cleaned the pipe this fall.
    GOD is GOOD
    I start 7AM-7PM this week.

Good morning everyone! -2° out there, but the sun should warm things up. Yesterday we did an OK job on the driveway, but it needs some further grooming. Also the back deck needs shoveling. First I'll swim, and then throw any extra energy at snow management.

    Have a good Monday!
