    17⁰, clear and calm. Warming to upper 30'snThe moon and stars are bright.

    I'll bring wood up to the deck rack. Then, grocery shopping. This weekend will be a good time to make a soup. There's a blizzard/nor'easter heading our way starting late Friday. At least 12inches of snow.

    The Falcons have done much better than the Lions. Last championship was 1957; a mere 64 years ago. btw, I remember watching that game and of course it was black and white with very little advertising as the game was more important then. Also there was not all the so-called announcers and long before replay. In addition, I don't think any players made even 100,000 per year.

    Good morning everyone! Well, it finally happened... my grandson tested positive on Tuesday. Sore throat but no fever, a little lower energy than usual, eating and drinking. Of course he was at my house on Sunday. We feel fine, but we're isolating until Thursday, when we'll take a rapid test. His parents are starting to feel some symptoms. Everyone's vaxxed, including my grandson, so hopefully it will come and go quickly.
    One of my neighbors, whose lot is cattycorner in back of us, wants to buy a cord of my wood. I said sure, if they haul it. Unfortunately there's no way to easily chuck it over the 6' fence. Price and wood type still to be determined. They better get on the stick before it snows this weekend!

    Morning All. Fog again this morning. Sun has been trying to show its face all week but it is quite the battle against the overcast.
    Midwinter so sorry to hear about your grandson. I guess sooner or later we all are going to be hit with it. I just hope it is a mild case for everyone.
