    Not primo wood, but some good Fir and Alder in the middle stacks.
    I’d stack higher but I’ve had them fall over when I do. Approximately 4 cord ready for the first fires of Autumn. [​IMG]

    Dark wood. Sitting in wet leaves for a while?

    I got some red oak, dark like that, still solid. I just needed to be patient while it dries out after being stacked.

    The result of a several years in a wet climate. Some of it was pretty bad when I cut it to begin with. Still nice to be ahead of the game.
