That’s about what I got out of this one before the handle broke between the shed and the garage tonight.

LL Bean, MIL got us in 2009, Christmas.

Don’t think they carry the same model anymore.
    Any suggestions on a replacement?

Did you actually toss it out, or nail it to the wall as a wall hanger?

Contact them. Maybe, with the story behind it, they will buy it back for more than your MIL paid for it. They might even repair it for you.

If nothing else, I’d feel good about sharing the info with them.

We started looking and I think we’re settled on the Dura Tough Standing Log Carrier, closest to what we’ve had. Until tonight that is

If you know any one around you that does leather work, you could have a set of leather handles put on it.

I’ve got a good one I took to the local shoe repair shop to get sewn back together. I’ve seen decent looking canvas bags on Amazon, but none of them look as heavy duty as my current bag.

I got some huge bags on eBay for like $25 a piece. Waxed canvas long shoulder straps.

^This is what I was thinking.
Fix it if it’s been that good for you, because it seems like the replacement is never as good as the original

Just take an old pair of blue jeans cut a strip of them and piece that handle back together. If it were me, I would get the misses to do it.
Looks like it still has some life left in it.

Geez Mike i didnt know you were that strong!  No wonder the handle broke!

Ive seen this shoulder sling type of wood carrier thats made by Logox. Never used one but seems easier than a log carrier/tote.

You know M2theB I do not have a canvas bag, but you got me to thinking that there are times when that could come in real handy. Glad you showed that.

What is that bag about 30 inches long.

I've had this for several years. No sign of any wear/tear. Anything larger gets too heavy.

Boy, I went down the wrong thought path with that title.

What I was thinking as I clicked in.
