Here in Eastern Kentucky we seen temps in the twenties for highs today. Typically don’t see that here. We have had a couple of mild winters and for a lot of people this type of winter we are having catches a lot off guard.

Sure it does! It just takes a masters in physics and meteorology to understand it. It gave me a headache trying to follow.

Accuweather? You mean inaccurate weather?  Maybe it was just a mistake?

Maybe, like someone had said, it was a warm breeze.....we've all felt those before at different times.

My first thoughts were that the humidity level was unusually high.

Same as in your house. Once the humidity level is low due to weeks of heating, a persons comfort level needs to have more heat . If the humidity % is increased, same person will feel comfortable at a lower temperature. Before we got the humidifier, indoor temps here would be pushing 74/75 before 99 lbs was happy, Now, with the humidifier running daily and % readings between 33-38 % temps of 71-72 are good.

It would have been interesting to find out the humidity and dew point levels also......

One of those things many want to claim.

Where I went to college claims him too. Stevens Point.

It got down to -2° last night. My stove kept the furnace quiet last night. Didn't hear it go on at all last night.

Ash in the stove tonight. 19° now and falling.

It’s been snowing all day here. The weather geniuses forecasted 1-3 inches. We already have 8 fresh inches, and it’s supposed to keep snowing until the early hours of the morning. They always undershoot my area. It’s 17 degrees outside. 76 degrees inside. Burning Lodgepole pine and a few Ash shorties.

Yeah, I have to work tomorrow unfortunately. But that’s okay. Driving to work in a lifted Ram 2500 isn't too bad on a Saturday morning in the snow. I prefer to drive to work on the weekends, especially when it snows. I won’t even see any other vehicles until I get to Denver. I’ll just set my alarm for 3 am and take it slow. We will easily have a foot by then. Still snowing hard here.

    Lots. Of. Coffee.

2 degrees outside here 70 inside just reloaded with black locust and some twisted stringy white oak. Not supposed to have day above freezing for at least 2 weeks.

23 and burning oak. There’s a fresh blanket of snow on the ground.
