    Just watching the local forecast on the New Haven station and he made no mention of it. No precip either. Cold and dry and im going hoarding next week! WooHoo!

    It’s supposed to get down to -1• here in northwest Virginia early Saturday morning. Time to bring in extra wood for the wood stove. Thankfully the local propane company just came out and filled my big propane tank too. (My mini wood stove only keeps a fire for about two hours when I’m running it hard and I need the propane furnace for back up during the night.)

    Whew BrianK, you just scurred me. Yes that is very cold for VA. Looked at weather, they're saying 18 for the low for us down here. Maybe some of this mud bog will freeze, for a few hours...

    Seasonably cold and dry. Great excuse for a wood hoarding vacation. The two day job i have i can postpone til the following week. Tree job for a day and cold enough to enjoy wooding. Locust mania is killing me and have 3-4 repeats i wanna hit next week too.
    The barkless BL rack has lots of room too. I can feel the mania build as i type!

    Around here, if they predict 6, we get 2. I guess they are just covering their @$$.

    Been a long time since i have seen 8" in one fall, heck even 6"

    I never trust the weather station forcast more then 2 days, even then they can be wrong.

    I look at my weather app for an overview, but I only trust the National Weather Service and FEMA alerts for storms. They’re not trying to sell ads so they have no incentive to over-blow what might be coming.

    -32° F at 8:15 this morning. I was surprised when my old truck started using the remote starter. Buying a new battery a couple of weeks ago helped.

    Work knows if I say I can't make it due to road conditions I'm lieing. So i just tell them if they need me I'll be in a plow truck at the local medical center. They seem to understand.
