So what, they were supposed to not shoot 3-pointers, or shoot for the basket at all for that matter? Even if they shot ONLY 3-pointers, they would have to have hit the basket almost 31 times. Maybe he should have pulled the team off the floor until the other team could catch up, or maybe played 2 on 5. I understand it is no fun and very disheartening to lose by that big of a margin (let's ignore the fact that this is a contest), but wouldn't it even be worse to stay closer in score if another team obviously isn't even trying. There is only 1 circumstance I could think of that I would be more understanding that there is a "problem", but I will not go there because I'm sure it would get this thread to the point it is locked down.
The most lopsided college football score was in the range of 200+ to 0. No first downs were recorded. The losing team couldn't make a first down and the other team made touchdowns. A Georgia team was involved. Quarters were shortened as the game went on.
assigning blame in this age of 'everyone gets a trophy' isn't all that shocking, and that's pretty sad. It's like watching the decline of Rome, with all the sacking taking place from within, at least so far.
Next thing you know there won’t be any fun size or king size snickers. Can’t body shame them candy bars.
