I heard through the grapevine a local golf course was removing lots of dead ash trees. Anyone who wanted wood just come and get it. Picked up a small load after work today. Will stop again tomorrow after work. 92CE3DA9-21CD-4108-9AB1-BFDE25F954AF.jpeg D0AD4B45-C0E3-4D73-AD9C-E1243D866B1F.jpeg

With a score like that, all you can do is take your saw and slice, slice, slice.

When those trees were cut down I wonder if they called “timber!” or “fore!”

Great score! Welcome to FHC. Now I’m not the new guy here anymore! To be a real “hoarder” we need to see multiple trips back there fore more wood. You’ll have the bug before you know it. Keep us posted.

Thanks everyone. Yes the wood is already cut, typical tree service sizes from 12 to 30 inches long.
Hopefully there is some left after work today as 4 other trucks were loading up at the time I was there.

Good luck getting more. You may wish to talk to the groundskeeper and give them your number so they don't have to deal with people that show up and make a big mess.
