Or possibly one of these if the blades go deep enough. The Rockwell one at Lowes is corded, on sale and prettuy sure it comes with quite a few attachments. Cordless is easier, but more $$

About 4" before it turned to rain. Rain didn't last to long and the sun is out. Slop took a while to move and the blower didn't like it much.

So far we are happy with the little heater keeping the catio warm. Lowest temp since I put it out there was 34ºF. I thought low would keep up, But medium is a safer setting. I have to see if I can find a switch that will turn it on at freezing and off once its about. I keep forgetting to turn it off to save juice when its not needed.

Its an enclosed porch to most other people. A cat patio area to us. :D

Its prefect for our cats to spend the day out on enjoying fresh air and sunshine.

Chances are fair, that if you run any open wheeled sprint type car,
on dirt, for a while, you will end up there..

Man, the HD prices are 30% + more vs. Lowes, every single time. They gotta put a Lowes in Keene, one of these years.

I "upgraded" to the Dewalt 20v series cordless drill & driver tools a year or so ago, I'm liking that cordless version for $99. The local Harbor Freight sells all sorts of different blades that are compatible w/ the Dewalt tool, IIRC.

That is also in the arsenal badbob, thanks for the tip & reminder. I have a very expensive, rarely used, thru-the-wall drill bit set that I purchased to install network cabling on a job, a few years back.

I'll try one out and see if it cuts the rake / angle down - the standard set w/ the large drill chuck had me close to a 45 angle. (It should.) And I will pickup a thin chisel also: the one that was here vanished many moons ago. (Probably still somewhere under the house, in that crawlspace.)

I think between those 3 tools: drill bit, rounded / tiny chisels, and oscillating tool - I should be able to 'finesse' a cut back there, without borking the plumbing. Thanks guys. :handshake:

Driveway cleanup is done (enough for today / tomorrow am anyway), a solid 8" plus - but rained the last 1/2 hr. or so of the storm, the snow was wet and heavy. The Toro 724 OE handled it well, but it was slow going at the edge of the road. ... Was a full 16"out there, after road plowing. Time for some chow and back-to-work. Have a great evening all.

ThermoCube. TC-3 Turns on at 35*, off at 45*. Closest thing I could find to turn on battery heater on my whole house genny at the big house in NY. They make other on/off temps too....sold online, and I think Tractor Supply too:

Yep, we've had our share of shiny side down, but not for a few years <fingers crossed>.

About 6" before change to rain. By the time I got home the bottom 2" was slop and a layer of ice underneath. Toughest cleanup here in years.

Had I been home a few hours earlier, the blower (which did clog multiple times at the wetter crud near the road) would have handled much more than it could, and I could have left the rest to melt in the 45 deg weather.

Had to blow and then the scooping/scraping began of the slush left behind as the temps were dropping and would have been solid ice this morning.

I thought I had the hand issues (left thumb mostly) under control but after 1.5 hours of scraping and shoveling it suddenly flared up really bad. Back to not being able to lift anything with that hand for a while that utilizes the thumb-so pretty much anything.

Entire driveway is ice this am. I got up as much as I could but still its white ice and not dark meaning can see the asphalt through it.

Hopefully today's sun will help it a little. One can hope, right?

I ordered 2 of these today - one for each room, should be here on Friday:

    https://www.homedepot.com/p/Pelonis...diant-Portable-Space-Heater-HO-0280/309069854

The 40 y/o (circa 1981) "Incredible Heat Machine"s wiring was "crunchy" .. after removing the top cover. Betsy & I both agreed it was time to move on -> and upgrade.

.. To give us some breathing room to get the heat cable on the cold water pipe this weekend. - And work on the Englander 25-PDV stove out in the front mud room.
