27 with at least 8 inches of fresh white stuff. Not even trying to get out of the driveway up to the road until it breaks light. Stove is loaded up with oak and a little cherry.
14 F here with Maple and Beech in the Wood Gun. Heavy snowfall out there right now. I took a walk down to the barn at 6:15 to plug the CAT 426 in. There is 6-7” at least already, and it is coming down hard.
35*F at the moment, snow has changed over to rain. 12mph wind gusts which they say are going up to 40mph-ish gusts. Taking the opportunity to shut down the stove for a cleaning before the low teen highs later in the week.
Balmy 28°F here while this storm passes through, 8"-15" forecasted, temps dropping back down to negatives tonight and through the week. Winds expected to gust to 50mph, so the power may go out.
13" of white powder here so far. Just finished the drive and the shear bolts went in the snowblower. Daaaaanm it. I usually take care of the neighbor lady too.
Hate it when that happens. With our little snow Friday night I managed to get 15 driveways, including ours, done on Saturday with the lawn tractor/snowblower. Always feel bad if I can't get them taken care of due to equipment problems.
How is it working for you? I unboxed mine last night but I can't get the fan lid to seat properly. It also appears the sides are bowed out slightly. Any clues? yooperdave savemoney ?
Mine is working great. I did see how people are splitting the bottom at the wheels and making it leak. Wheels just go in until snug. Don’t continue to insert until bottomed out. Using 2-3 gallons a day. Mike in Okla
8 inches of snow and 29°, just got done back blading the drive. I should buy tire chains. Load of ash in the fireview.
