Looked like a good time to fire up the splitter at 1130 this morning. Glad I did it then. This is what it looked like at 5:00pm. And this is just the start. Predicting 14 inches by noon tomorrow
Yep. Same here. We’re still getting precipitation of various kinds. Currently a mix bag of freezing rain and rain on top of a couple inches of white stuff.
Nothing here yet snow wise....but were hoping for a good whomping at some point. We have one small score to complete, but there's no rush. Im ok to not run around after wood too hard....we have a bigger job that I need to get into, but have a family member who is departing for Heaven shortly....putting off big commitments till that has occurred. It is nice to get out ahead of the storm and get things done though!! Sca
Out the side door this morning. From 5pm yesterday when there was no snow on the side of house till 7am today and its got another 4-5hrs to go
We had 5 degrees and clear yesterday morning and by 10pm it was 45 and raining. Going to be a mud fest
good excuse to stay in and sit by the woodstove. it was a cold morning 6 here had winter league skeet shoot at 9am home by noon saw it was coming here so I cut up downed branches and weed wacked around the marsh area. Then went in cellar to mess around with the rifle reloads . woke up this morning to pouring rain
Not too far from me but I don't get Lake effect in Kent, OH. My sister lives on the Trumbull-Geauga county line. The Youngstown tv news said her town was at 15" at 7am.
13" here so far. Had to clear a path for the dog this morning first thing then just got the drive done when the shear bolts went in the snowblower. Think I found some at a place about 10 miles from here so I will be venturing out soon.
And looks like you might have more than we do here...hard to say with all the blowing, but I'm guessing 6" here? Seems like we were right on the line though...east a lil bit got a lot more, and west 10 miles got a couple inches.
Blizzaks are officially my favorite tire for snow. This Accord is a little tank with them. Thes are the first dedicated snow tires I've owned and they are awesome!
I got some Edge Tamers for my tractor's bucket that I often move snow with on a gravel driveway and we haven't had any more snow that a leaf blower or broom could handle. I don't mind at all if I don't get to use them with snow as there are plenty of pics here for evidence of Winter.
