This^^^^^^^^. All about fertilizer. Almost all is broadcast other than nitrogen. You don’t see the short rows on the edge of fields with beans. Beans don’t take much fertilizer to grow. Corn is expensive grow.

There's a commercial on TV for an outfit called "Local Steals and Deals". It's a woman selling the product du jour. Her name is Lisa Robertson. It is on in the morning, usually during local news

Every time it comes on, I get more annoyed with it/her. Her go-to phrases of faux-excitment are "Oh, my gosh", and "How great is that?". Along with a list of made up problems the product solves.

The commercial segment is the only commercial that the news anchors actually announce.

As far as "local", it is not. I thought from the name, that the products were locally produced. Wrong. Products are produced all over. The commercial is shown across the country.

It is my observation, that I get more annoyed the more times this segment shows up. To me, Her voice and delivery equates to nails on a chalk board.

I'm done. Thanks for reading my rant. :salute:

Ever notice that people try to make vegetables taste and look like meat?

Secondly, ever wonder why when vegans try this new wonder food, like beyond chicken or beyond beef, They take a bite or two and then proclaim..."tastes just like steak!" (or burger or chicken). Then, do you ever think just how in the he!! would they know if they are a vegan?

I quit trying to make fake cookies, cake, whatever, just to "enjoy" eating those things but in a healthy manner. Eating cookies without real flour and sugar, besides not filling the original desire, just makes.me.want the real thing. Id rather eat a few of the real deal, and limit that to stay healthy.
Or agree to quit altogether. But then I eat a bean flour pancake, to enjoy it, which wakes up the desire for a.real pancake....

Do or do not, there is no try.

I have observed that: The best thing about retirement is you spend a lot more time with the Wife. The worst thing about retirement is you spend a lot more time with the Wife.

    Observation,
Man hole covers always seem to be in the part of the travel lane where your tires go if you drive down the center of the lane so you drive right over them and so many are well below the road surface.
Why cant they either put them in the center of the travel lane so you straddle them or in the center of the road where the lines are painted?

I can answer that...often times (not always) its because the road got widened/travel lanes moved...that throws a major wrench in things.
But sometimes the manhole can't be placed in a preferable spot because of existing underground infrastructure though too...and I'm sure that sometimes it really is because the guy in charge of the job just doesn't give a chit...
