    Took some pics yesterday.
Not a huge amount of snow on the ground, but some cool scenery (Literally)
We had to take a family member to the hospital for a scheduled surgery.....(All fine today)

The cold weather is about done now (For now)
Up to 37F this afternoon...The snow is falling out of the trees BIG TIME.
Fine by me.....any more and limbs start snapping off and tearing out power lines.

We were out of power Tuesday night at 10 pm...back on at 12:15 am ....Just enough time to get the genset fired up and a propane heater in the pump shack.....crawled back in the rack and got comfy....power back on....

Great pics, thanks for sharing with us! I'm patiently waiting for one of these monsoons we get every other day to be a big snowstorm. We got around 2" of rain the other night.

it's wet for sure. Ground is frozen on top but not underneath and the sump pump is running a bit.

I see you have horses. I had cattle and my wife had horses for year. All the cattle was was sold off and I converted the pastures to hay ground. Wife's last Percheron died of old age finally and we sold the horse trailer years ago along with all the tack and everything else. Don't miss any of it. Don't have to go out when it's crummy outside any more except to plow out the drives on the rentals. I've become a warm weather person with running hay and the garden.

Thanks all for the kind words.

The Snow covers up all the dirty muddy yuck.
Right now its the typical winter blah green drab.....

We had a beautiful sunny day Wed.
Could not pass that up....So we hauled nut shells.

Gonna get out here in a while and get more shells....

Extended forecast for Jan. looks pretty benign so far......February can get nasty though.

Once we get through Feb....March can blow down a few inches of snow even late in the month....15th to the 25th has seen 4-6 inches.....goes away quick though.

Then comes April, the grass grows, the leaves pop out....ah yess.
